To strengthen the national epidemic prevention system and enhance judicial forensic capacity, the Institute of Forensic Medicine (IFM) of the Ministry of Justice and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) of the Ministry of Health and Welfare held a "Cooperation Agreement Signing Ceremony" today (February 10) at 10:00 AM.

The partnership aims to establish a rapid notification and testing mechanism for cases involving "suspected deaths from infectious diseases" and "suspected deaths following vaccination." This initiative is designed to create a more resilient safety net for the nation.

The signing ceremony took place at the Ministry of Justice Cultural and Historical Gallery. Director Hou of the IFM and Director Lo of the CDC signed the agreement on behalf of their respective agencies. The event was witnessed by Minister Cheng of the Ministry of Justice and Vice Minister Chuang of the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

This milestone partnership ensures high-precision and efficient investigations for public health-related deaths.
