Director General Hou Kuan-Ren opened the session by outlining the IFM’s mission and strategic objectives, emphasizing that international synergy is indispensable to the evolution of modern justice.
A key highlight was the high-level Q&A, where delegates and their Taiwanese counterparts engaged in a comparative analysis of autopsy protocols and procedural workflows. The discussion identified shared challenges and best practices within their respective regulatory frameworks.
The visit concluded with a guided tour of the Exhibition Hall of Forensic Medicine and the Institute’s laboratories, showcasing the IFM’s advanced technological capabilities and their practical application in criminal investigations.
By facilitating this exchange of expertise, the Institute continues to foster global partnerships, ensuring forensic science remains at the forefront of the pursuit of justice.
